This variant of the Trend Intumescent Strip Recesser features a 15mm cut length and 27.05mm cutting diameter, making it the ideal choice for routing grooves to accommodate 15mm wide intumescent strip. With a 1/2" shank, it fits securely into standard router collets for reliable, controlled cutting.
The bearing guide runs smoothly against the door or frame surface, ensuring a straight, consistent groove depth of 4mm — perfectly matched to standard 4mm thick intumescent strip.
