Trend Intumescent Strip Recesser Bearing Guided Router Cutter
This variant of the Trend Intumescent Strip Recesser features a 10mm cut length and 27.05mm cutting diameter, making it the ideal choice for routing grooves to accommodate 10mm wide intumescent strip. With a 1/2" shank, it fits securely into standard router collets for reliable, controlled cutting.
The bearing guide runs smoothly against the door or frame surface, delivering a consistent, accurate groove depth of 4mm — precisely matched to standard 4mm thick intumescent strip. This is the smaller of the two available sizes and is well suited to installations where a narrower strip width is specified, whilst still providing an effective fire and smoke barrier.
