It's good to know how hot the air coming out of your heat gun is, and even better to know the exact temperature on the workpiece, especially if it is made of heat-sensitive materials. Designed to provide full control of temperature when working on temperature-sensitive surfaces, the HG Scan PRO senses the temperature on the workpiece by using infrared measurement. It works in a range of 0-300°C with absolute precision - and informs you visually as well as acoustically if the temperature exceeds or drops below the set threshold for whatever project you are working on. Infrared laser technology ensures the ideal distance can be maintained, and because it is designed specifically for the HG 2520 E, relevant data is communicated intelligently between scanner and the hot air tool, and power is drawn directly from the machine so there is no need to worry about batteries or supplementary power cables.
