Stanley Fatmax Bevel Edge Chisel
The Stanley FatMax 22mm (7/8in) Bevel Edge Chisel provides a substantial cutting width for demanding carpentry and joinery applications. With an overall length of 135mm, this chisel offers excellent leverage and reach for larger mortising work, substantial timber preparation, and general purpose tasks requiring efficient material removal.
The thru tang construction with friction welded bolster delivers exceptional strength that's 50% greater than previous models on side impact tests. The shatterproof polymer handle incorporates an ergonomic soft grip for maximum control and comfort, even during heavy-duty use.
Manufactured from ball bearing grade steel EN31, the blade is fully ground and finished to deliver ultimate sharpness and superior edge retention. The steel striking cap can be struck with a steel hammer for increased cutting force, and the body resists most solvents for durability in professional environments.
