Spax Countersinking Pozi Wood Screws Stainless Steel

Spax Countersinking Pozi Wood Screws in stainless steel are precision-engineered fasteners designed for reliable, split-free fixing into hardwood, softwood, plastics, and thin metal sheet.

The patented 4CUT point takes immediate hold on contact, eliminating the need for pre-drilling even in dense hardwoods. Rather than forcing fibres apart, it divides them cleanly as the screw drives in, preventing material splitting and ensuring a secure, consistent fix.

The patented MULTIhead combines moulding and stopping action in a single design. Cutting ribs countersink the head smoothly into the wood surface, whilst a deeper recess in the head provides a longer, more stable bit hold — reducing cam-out and driver slippage during installation.

These screws carry building authority approval and are suitable for a wide range of applications including timber framing, joinery, decking, and general carpentry. The hard synthetic coating aids smooth driving, while the stainless steel construction offers corrosion resistance for both interior and exterior use.
