An ideal replacement
The reel is great for our use, a bit cheap and chearful but otherwise ok
Can’t fault the quality. My only issue is that when you are winding it wobbles left to right making it a bit awkward. I fixed it at 90 degrees to wall with a piece of wood and it is great.
The Winding handle sheered off after only a week
The quality isn't great to be honest. The bolt holding the handle is too long so that it snags the hose as the reel turns - i had to shorten it with a hacksaw. My main gripe though is that it is rusting already, despite only being installed for 2 summer months. Rust stains very quickly appeared on the patio slabs beneath the reel and i fear that this product isn't going to last very long.
