Rust Oleum Hard Hat Stainless Steel Spray Paint

The Rust-Oleum Hard Hat Stainless Steel Spray Paint is a fast-drying alkyd aerosol topcoat formulated for light industrial maintenance and touch-up work on metal surfaces.

Based on a short oil soya alkyd and free from lead and chromate pigments, this 500ml aerosol delivers a high-gloss stainless steel finish suitable for interior applications and environments with normal humidity. It is designed for use over Rust-Oleum Hard Hat 2169/2182 primers or properly prepared painted substrates.

Ideal for small maintenance jobs and touch-up tasks in light industrial settings, the spray dries to touch in just 15 minutes at 20°C. Recoating can be carried out within the first hour or after 48 hours, with full hardness achieved after 7 days.

The paint offers a heat resistance of up to 100°C (dry heat), though discolouration may occur above 65°C. Theoretical coverage is 2.5 m² per can at a recommended dry film thickness of 25 µm.
