Rust Oleum Hard Hat Galvanising Zinc Spray Paint

The Rust-Oleum Hard Hat Galvanising Zinc Spray is a fast-drying, zinc-rich cold galvanising compound designed to provide cathodic protection on bare and galvanised steel surfaces.

Based on an epoxy ester resin and pigmented with pure zinc, this aerosol delivers genuine corrosion resistance in a convenient spray format. It is suited to touch-up work and small area application where hot-dip galvanising is impractical or inaccessible.

Ideal for use as a primer or as a single-coat system in light industrial environments, corrosive conditions, and high-humidity settings. It can be overcoated with non-saponifiable coatings, making it a practical first stage in a wider protective coating system. The product reaches a touch-dry finish in just 10 minutes at 20°C, allowing work to continue with minimal downtime.

With a heat resistance of up to 450°C (dry heat), this zinc spray compound is well suited to applications where thermal exposure is a consideration. Recoating must be carried out within 1 hour or after a 48-hour interval to ensure adhesion integrity.
