Rust Oleum Epoxy Shield Concrete Floor Sealer

The Rust-Oleum EpoxyShield Concrete Floor Sealer is a single-component, water-based concrete sealer designed to protect, consolidate, and simplify the maintenance of bare concrete floors.

Based on a vinyl acrylic binder, this clear gloss sealer reduces dust production on untreated concrete and provides effective protection against moisture, road salts, and liquid spills. Its water-based formulation keeps VOC levels low at 77 g/l, making it a practical and responsible choice for use in enclosed spaces such as garages and workshops.

The sealer can be applied as a standalone finish in two coats, or used as a sealer and impregnation primer ahead of EpoxyShield 5200 ULTRA floor coating systems. It is suitable for bare, clean, and fully dry concrete surfaces — it should not be applied to smooth or very dense concrete, or to concrete treated with a curing compound.

With a touch-dry time of just one hour at 20°C and a recoat window from six hours, it keeps projects moving without unnecessary downtime.
