The Roughneck Gorilla V Series Slaters Hammer is a professional roofing hammer designed for slate work and general roofing applications. Manufactured from drop-forged, hardened and tempered steel, this 600g (21oz) hammer delivers increased striking power whilst minimising user fatigue through intelligent design features.

The unique V-Shock twin-beam girder shaft acts as a damper system, significantly reducing shock and vibration transmission through the tool. This is further enhanced by an air-cushioned grip that provides comfort during extended use. The reduced weight in the shaft cleverly transfers the centre of gravity towards the head, resulting in improved balance and reduced effort with each strike.

Designed specifically for slating work, the pick end enables holes to be punched in slates quickly and accurately. An integrated nail puller allows nails to be removed with ease, eliminating the need for additional tools on site. A lanyard hole in the base of the handle allows for safe and secure tethering when working at height, meeting modern working at height requirements.
