For short clamping ie less than 1m they're perfect and do a great job. However the longer the piece to clamp the more the wood ho lding the clamps will bow. Best option iswhen you make your wood bar to clamp the heads on, i would strongly advise to use 25mm x at least 40mm, and widwr if possible. This will help minimise bowing of the clamp
