Portwest Shock Absorbing Double Lanyard

The Portwest Shock Absorbing Double Lanyard is a fall arrest lanyard designed to protect workers at height, offering a twin-leg configuration ideal for use on scaffolding and elevated work platforms.

The lanyard features two 120cm ropes, each fitted with a scaffold hook, alongside a central snap hook for connection to a safety harness. A tear-open energy absorber is integrated into the design, deploying on impact to significantly reduce the force transmitted to the wearer in the event of a fall.

With a 52mm scaffold hook opening, this lanyard is suited to scaffolding tube work as standard. The twin-leg design allows continuous attachment, enabling workers to maintain a secure connection to the structure at all times when moving between anchor points — a critical requirement for working at height compliance.

CE certified and UKCA marked, this lanyard meets the regulatory requirements for personal fall protection equipment in the UK and Europe. It carries a maximum rated load of 100kg and a 10-year shelf life from the manufacturing date, as indicated on the product label.
