This 38mm (1.1/2in) Marples MS500 Series All-Purpose Chisel represents one of the larger sizes in the range, making it particularly well-suited for heavy-duty joinery, preparing wide housings, and cleaning out substantial mortises. The generous 38mm blade width allows you to work efficiently on broader timber surfaces and larger-scale woodworking projects.

Equipped with a large metal striking cap, this chisel withstands substantial hammer impacts whilst prolonging handle life and preventing mushrooming.
