This is the bare unit version of the Makita UH014G 40v Max XGT hedge trimmer, supplied without batteries or charger. Ideal for professionals already invested in the Makita XGT platform, this option allows you to expand your cordless tool collection without purchasing duplicate batteries and chargers.
The trimmer delivers professional-grade performance with its 750mm single-sided blade and triple-edged cutting teeth, capable of tackling branches up to 23.5mm diameter. Three electronic speed settings provide precise control for different hedge types and conditions, whilst the constant speed control automatically compensates for heavy loads to maintain consistent cutting performance.
The brushless motor technology ensures superior power delivery, extended runtime and exceptional tool longevity compared to traditional brushed motors. Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
