The DUC355Z represents the bare unit configuration, supplied as body only without batteries or charger, making it the ideal choice for professionals who already own Makita 18V LXT batteries and want to expand their cordless tool collection. This powerful cordless chainsaw delivers professional-grade performance with its brushless 36V motor system, achieving chain speeds of 0-20 m/sec and maximum output of 1,100W. The 350mm guide bar with 3/8" chain pitch and 0.043" gauge is perfectly sized for a wide range of cutting applications from tree surgery to timber work. Safety features include electric chain brake, kickback brake, and lock-off lever, whilst the adjustable automatic chain lubrication system ensures the chain remains properly maintained during operation.
The ergonomic design features a soft grip handle and large metal spike bumper that provides firm grip on the workpiece for enhanced control. With 200ml chain oil capacity and an oil capacity display, you can easily monitor lubrication levels during extended use.

The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
