The DPJ180Z is the bare unit version, supplied without batteries, charger or case - ideal for tradespeople already invested in the Makita 18V LXT platform who want to add biscuit jointing capability to their arsenal. This configuration offers maximum flexibility and value for money when you already have compatible batteries and charging equipment.
This cordless biscuit jointer delivers professional results with its 100mm diameter, 6-tooth blade spinning at 10,000 RPM. The slim motor housing provides exceptional control and comfort, whilst the comprehensive safety features including anti-restart function and electronic current limiter ensure peace of mind during operation.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
