Makita DLX2180TJ 18v LXT Cordless Brushless Combi Drill and Impact Driver Kit
This variant of the Makita DLX2180TJ kit includes two 5.0Ah Li-ion batteries, providing the longest runtime capacity in the range. The higher capacity 5.0Ah batteries are ideal for professional tradespeople working on extended jobs or in locations where recharging opportunities are limited, ensuring maximum productivity throughout the working day.
The kit combines the versatile DHP454 combi drill with the powerful DTD153 impact driver, both equipped with brushless motors for superior efficiency. The combi drill handles drilling into wood, metal and masonry as well as screw driving tasks, whilst the impact driver excels at high-torque fastening applications. Both tools feature integrated LED worklights to illuminate your work area in low-light conditions.
All components are housed in a stackable Makpac Connector Type 3 case, which connects securely to other Makpac cases for organised storage. The DC18RC compact charger efficiently charges your batteries, and both batteries and charger are compatible with the complete Makita 18v LXT cordless tool system.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
