Delivering 2.8J of impact energy with up to 5,000 blows per minute, this rotary hammer effectively drills concrete up to 28mm diameter, steel up to 13mm, and wood up to 32mm. The brushless motor technology maximises efficiency from the twin 18v battery system, whilst anti-vibration technology and the soft no-load function enhance user comfort during extended use.
The variable speed control (0-980rpm) and constant speed function provide precise control across different materials. Complete with side handle, depth stop, bit grease, DX08 dust extraction attachment and Makita Makpac Type 4 connector case. Batteries and charger not included.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.

A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance.
