Part of Makita's established LXT range, this two-speed fan offers the flexibility of dual power sources – operating either from the included mains AC adaptor or from compatible Makita 14.4V and 18V lithium-ion batteries, making it ideal for locations without mains power access.
Built to withstand the demands of jobsite use, the DCF201 features a robust construction with protective elastomer bumpers that guard against knocks and rough handling. The angle-adjustable head allows precise airflow direction, whilst the selectable high and low speed settings deliver airflow up to 120 metres per minute, providing effective cooling for tradespeople working in hot conditions or ventilation when drying materials.
Practical features include a three-stage automatic shut-off timer offering 1, 2 or 4-hour intervals, helping to conserve battery power or manage energy consumption. The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
