The Makita 191K01-6 is a complete 40v XGT battery and charger starter kit designed for tradespeople investing in Makita's high-performance cordless platform. This power source pack contains two 4.0ah XGT lithium-ion batteries, a DC40RA fast charger, and a Makpac Type 1 stackable case for organised transport and secure storage.
Introduced in 2020, Makita's 40v XGT range represents a heavy-duty cordless platform engineered to work alongside the established 18v LXT system rather than replace it. The XGT batteries feature robust housings with impact-absorbing padding for enhanced durability on site, whilst advanced two-way digital communication between battery and tool optimises performance and reliability. The included batteries offer greatly increased water and drop impact resistance compared to previous generations, making them ideal for challenging site conditions.
