Hacksaws

Hacksaws Information

Hacksaws are primarily designed for cutting metal though they are also ideal for sawing materials like plastic pipes and wooden dowels. A hacksaw consists of a hacksaw frame and a removable, replaceable blade which is held under tension in the frame. Hacksaw frames are commonly available in either a standard size for general purpose use or a junior size which is more suitable for precision applications. Hacksaw blades may be available in several different TPI (teeth per inch) configurations: higher TPI blades will cut finely but slowly, while lower TPI blades will cut coarsely but quickly.

We stock professional grade hacksaws from brands like Knipex, Facom, Lenox and Irwin as well as plenty of affordable options for light trade or DIY use.
