Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
Chainsaws
Always make sure your oil is topped up & your chain is tensioned correctly. This will ensure your chain life is extended & more importantly is operating safely.
Remember Chainsaws are dangerous. Do not attempt to use one if you have not fully read the instructions, are confident in the correct use & have adequate safety equipment & clothing.

Yes very good, the old saw burnt out the motor so i still had the battery and charger, with this kit i managed to get up and running again, so cheap was out...all working ok...from Fred.
Gr8 compact battery operated chainsaw cuts for an hr b4 battery needs charged.
I bought this cordless chainsaw after reading generic reviews of all cordless chainsaws and how they were starting to rival petrol ones. This brand I only bought as it was middle of the road price, good reviews and and an inter usable battery with other tools. First impressions were poor when testing it as it looked and felt so slow but I soon changed my mind after setting into a 20' overgrown laural Bush (tree). The torque was tremdous and consistent right to the end of the battery. On two full charges, I had the whole tree downed and logged. It might not have the power of a petrol one but it was more than ample for my needs cutting logs the full length of the 12" blade with ease. Down side, it threw the chain 3 or 4 times in the process but with regular tension checks, it hasn't hsppen since. Other downside is the limited range of tools for the 40v battery. The setup instructions could be better but once you see the simplicity of it, then you can work it out without instructions. Overall a good buy for any garden enthusiast.
