Forgefix Multi Purpose Zinc Plated Screws

This 4mm x 40mm Forgefix Multi-Purpose Screw is supplied in a pack of 200, providing excellent value for larger projects. The 40mm length makes this variant perfect for medium to heavier duty fixing tasks and thicker materials in joinery and general construction applications.

Featuring a Pozidriv compatible drive system and countersunk head, this screw sinks flush with substrates to leave a smooth, professional surface finish. The zinc plated coating provides excellent corrosion resistance by forming a protective barrier that prevents oxidation, with zinc oxide forming a fine white dust that doesn't compromise substrate integrity.

The Pozidriv drive system offers distinct advantages over traditional Phillips screws, with four additional points of contact and no rounded corners. This prevents cam-out when proper tooling is used, allowing great torque to be applied with confidence. The screw head features a distinctive 45-degree embossed line for easy identification.
