This 5mm diameter x 70mm length Forgefast Pozi Wood Screw in a pack of 100 provides extended fixing capability for very thick timber assemblies with the robust strength of a 5mm diameter. The 70mm length combined with 5mm diameter is ideal for securing heavy structural beams, substantial floor joists, and thick framework where deep penetration with superior holding power is essential.

Featuring a universally accepted Pozi-compatible drive, this screw incorporates six underhead lobes for improved countersinking and reduced surface dust. The reinforced countersunk neck delivers enhanced holding power. An anti-friction thread reduces timber splitting, prevents jacking and spinning of joined components, and provides improved drawing strength. The serrated thread design enhances pull-out resistance whilst reducing insertion torque.

The double cutting point enables faster drilling time with reduced wood dust clogging and is capable of piercing 0.8mm steel. Protected by the advanced Elementech 400 coating, this screw offers anti-corrosive protection lasting up to six times longer than standard zinc coatings. The environmentally friendly coating contains no Cr6+ and is Salt Spray tested to 400 hours.
