Forgefix Forgefast Pozi Elite Performance Wood Screw
The 6mm x 100mm Forgefast Pozi Elite Performance Wood Screw is supplied in boxes of 100, representing a premium heavy-duty solution for substantial structural applications. The increased 6mm diameter provides exceptional strength and resistance to shearing forces, whilst the 100mm length allows for deep penetration through thick timber sections. Please note this variant is specifically designed for interior use only.
With these robust dimensions, the screws are ideal for heavy structural framework, substantial joist fixing, thick timber construction, and applications where maximum holding power and load-bearing capacity are essential. The 6mm diameter provides superior load distribution compared to smaller screws, reducing deflection and ensuring reliable performance under significant loads. This size is particularly valued for demanding interior structural work including timber framing, heavy joinery, and substantial carpentry projects.
Featuring the universally accepted Pozi compatible drive with 6 underhead lobes, these screws deliver clean countersinking in heavy-duty applications. The reinforced countersunk necks provide maximum holding power. The anti-friction thread design effectively minimises timber splitting despite the substantial diameter, whilst the serrated thread delivers exceptional pull-out resistance. The double cutting point accelerates drilling through thick materials and can pierce 0.8mm steel. Protected by the Elementech 400 coating with 400-hour salt spray testing, these screws provide reliable corrosion protection for interior structural applications.
