Fischer General Purpose Expanding Foam

The Fischer General Purpose Expanding Foam is a single-component polyurethane foam designed for a wide range of interior filling, sealing, and insulating applications.

Suitable for use by builders, contractors, and joiners, this expanding foam handles everyday construction tasks including filling gaps around window frames and sills, sealing between walls and ceilings, insulating pipes, and filling openings in walls and voids. It requires no pre-moistening of the surface before application, saving time on preparation.

The foam hardens through a chemical reaction with atmospheric humidity and sets rapidly, becoming non-tacky in approximately 8 minutes. It is fully load bearing after 6–12 hours and completely hardened within 24 hours at 20°C. Once cured, it offers a temperature resistance range of -30°C to +80°C and is resistant to both rotting and ageing, making it a reliable long-term solution for general construction use.

The cartridge can be applied by hand or with a foam gun and should be held upside down during extrusion for best results. The CFC-free propellant and long shelf life make this a practical, low-waste addition to any tradesperson's kit.
