Faithfull Soft Grip Bevel Edge Wood Chisel

The Faithfull Soft Grip Bevel Edge Chisel in 6mm (1/4in) is the perfect choice for intricate detail work and delicate woodworking tasks. This narrow blade width makes it ideal for precision work in tight spaces, fine paring, and creating small joints or recesses.

Manufactured from drop-forged chrome vanadium steel, the blade is hardened and tempered to exacting standards to ensure the cutting edge remains sharper for longer. The bevelled edge design allows you to reach into the tightest corners with confidence. The handle features an anti-slip, soft grip coating for comfortable control during detailed work, and is fitted with a steel striking cap for use with a mallet or occasional hammer blow.

The blade is ground to an angle of 25° which increases to 30° at the leading edge for optimal cutting performance. For complete accuracy when sharpening, use a honing guide (FAIHG) and an oil, diamond or whetstone.
