Slaters hammer performs well after i re-sharpened the point that is used for making holes in the slate,was very blunt and would not go through the slate. unfortunately it fell of the scafolding and the shaft split in two,managed to glue it back together again and it is now working fine the point was round and blunt it should be square and sharp pointed bill mckechnie
