Was looking for an extending hedge trimmer with a long reach and that could cope with reasonably thick branches. The Einhell Professional 18/50 has a 25mm spacing on the cutting blade, total straight length from handle to end of cutter is 2.9m . The price had a 15% discount and Einhell were giving a free 4AH battery and charger with each Pro purchase. Ordering was easy and delivery fast. The Einhell Pro 18/50 is well designed, extends easily to your chosen length and is very capable, the cutting head is quality and 25mm blade spacing a bonus. The downside is that it is heavy and I found that I had to take several breaks whilst using it. It's got a good shoulder strap and a guard for the battery. It offers good value with the deals offered but if you want more power with a 33mm blade spacing then you will need to look at Stihl.
The Long Reach Hedge Trimmer was easy enough to assemble. Only draw back when in use is the positioning of the On/Off Switch and the Safety Lock-Off Switch. Were it not for this, the Tool would be perfect. Good Cutting Blades.
I loaned a battery operated hedge trimmer a few years ago and it struggled to cut small diameter twigs. This is a completely different beast. Trimmed my hedge and bushes with ease. Extension mechanism is simple and effective and allows me to do away the the time consuming ladders and trestles that I previously required
