Draper Expert HSS Metric Tap Drill Bit
The 2.5mm Draper Expert HSS Metric Tap Drill Bit is designed for drilling pilot holes before using 3 x 0.5 metric taps. With dimensions of 2.5 x 181mm, this extended length drill bit provides excellent reach for deeper hole requirements whilst maintaining the precise diameter needed for 3mm metric threading operations. The high speed steel construction ensures consistent cutting performance and extended tool life.
This longer format drill is particularly valuable when working with thicker materials or assemblies where standard length drills cannot reach. Supplied as a twin pack on card for added convenience and value in busy workshop environments.
