The Draper 3/8" Drive VDE Fully Insulated Hexagon Socket in 6mm is the smallest size in this professional electrical safety range, perfectly suited for precision work on compact electrical installations and control panel applications. This 6-point socket combines the fine size required for smaller metric fasteners with full VDE insulation protection, making it indispensable for electricians working on modern switchgear and electronic control systems.
Manufactured from chrome vanadium steel that's been hardened, tempered and chrome plated, this 6mm socket delivers reliable performance in demanding electrical environments. The fully insulated construction has been rigorously tested to 10,000V, certifying it safe for working with live systems up to 1000V AC or 1500V DC. The 3/8" square drive provides excellent versatility when paired with insulated ratchets and extension bars.
