The blade has a high-speed steel (HSS) tooth strip welded to a high-carbon steel (HCS) body. This bi-metal construction pairs hard cutting teeth with a flexible body for strength and durability. The 10 TPI tooth pattern with 2.5mm tooth spacing is suited to wood containing nails or metal, with a maximum cut capacity of 150mm.

With an S-shank fitting, this sabre saw blade works with all S-shank reciprocating saws. It also cuts sheet metal, pipes and profiles from 3mm to 12mm, so it is useful for wood and metal cutting on site or in the workshop.
