Bosch PRO X571 Best for Metal Straight Flap Disc
This Bosch PRO X571 Flap Disc is supplied as a single 125mm disc in a medium-coarse 60 grit — a highly capable all-round option for metalworking professionals.
The 125mm diameter is one of the most widely used sizes in trade and fabrication settings, and combined with a 60g grit, this variant handles everything from weld blending and surface prep to general stock removal on mild and hardened steel. It offers a good step up in finish quality compared to coarser grits, without sacrificing too much cutting speed.
The X571's aluminium oxide and zirconia grain fusion keeps the disc performing at up to 1.5x the speed of a Bosch X431, while the X-cloth backing structure holds firm during grinding for a stable, consistent result.
