The Bosch GBH 18V-18 is an 18V cordless SDS Plus rotary hammer designed for hammer drilling in concrete and general drilling in wood and metal.

Weighing just 1.59 kg (excluding battery), it is the lightest cordless hammer in the Bosch Professional 18V range — a genuine advantage for tradespeople working at height or in confined spaces. Despite its compact dimensions, the tool delivers full performance on an 18V 2.0 Ah battery, with a single charge capable of drilling up to 50 holes in concrete.

The brushless motor provides continuous power output and consistent speed throughout the charge cycle. With an SDS Plus tool holder, drilling diameters of 4–18 mm in concrete are supported, with an optimal application range of 6–10 mm for hammer drill bits. Maximum drilling diameter is 18 mm in wood and 10 mm in metal.

Safety is addressed through two key systems. KickBack Control cuts the motor immediately if the drill bit jams, reducing the risk of sudden tool rotation injuries. Vibration Control uses vibration-absorbing pulsation to reduce hand-arm exposure during prolonged use — an important consideration under HSE hand-arm vibration (HAV) guidance.
