The Bosch EXPERT MAVZ 116 RT2 Starlock Max Oscillating Multi Tool Sanding Plate is a carbide-grit sanding accessory designed for heavy-duty surface preparation with an oscillating multi-tool.

Conventional sandpaper struggles with hard or awkward materials, quickly breaking down when used on mortar, adhesive, or irregular surfaces. This sanding plate uses Bosch Carbide Technology, with high-grade carbide grit robustly bonded to the surface for exceptional durability across a long working life. When performance begins to drop, simply soak the plate in solvent to clean the grit and restore it to full effectiveness.

The RT2 variant carries a coarse grit size 20, making it well suited to removing mortar behind tiles, stripping carpet adhesive, and rough shaping of wood. The delta shape is designed to reach into corners and confined spaces, while the extra-thin blade profile allows access between floorboards, slats, and other narrow gaps that wider accessories cannot reach.

Fitting via the Starlock Max mount, the plate delivers maximum power transfer from compatible oscillating multi-tools and can be changed in approximately three seconds without tools.
