## Description

SPAX A2 Stainless Steel Washer Head Torx Wood Construction Screws are the professional's choice for outdoor timber construction, combining patented engineering with outstanding corrosion resistance. Featuring the exclusive SPAX Cut Head with ground serrations and countersink ribs, these screws deliver ultimate driving power without splitting the wood — a common frustration with lesser fixings. The wide washer head ensures a clean, flush finish whilst significantly increasing beam-supporting forces, reducing the number of fixings needed and saving valuable time on site. The 4CUT point is a standout innovation, effectively reducing the splitting effect as the square end pushes aside wood fibres and lowers the screwing-in torque. Wirox surface treatment provides high-level corrosion protection and is free from chromium-VI, making it a more environmentally responsible choice. Available in 6mm and 8mm diameters, with lengths ranging from 60mm to 200mm, in pack sizes of 50 or 100. Features and Benefits: • Patented SPAX Cut Head with ground serrations and countersink ribs for split-free driving • Washer head provides a clean, flush finish and increased beam-supporting forces • 4CUT point reduces splitting effect and screwing-in torque • Wirox surface treatment offers high corrosion protection, free from chromium-VI • Hard synthetic coating for smooth, easy driving • Deeper recess in screw head for a stronger bit hold • Suitable for outdoor use: carports, playground equipment, porches, bridges, bridge plank flooring and balconies
