## Description

SPAX A2 Stainless Steel Antique Finish Torx Decking Screws are purpose-built for outdoor timber decking, combining corrosion resistance with a discreet, thermally processed antique colour finish that blends naturally into the deck surface. The patented 4CUT point takes immediate hold on contact, eliminating the need for pre-drilling even in hardwoods. Combined with ground serrations that divide wood fibres rather than forcing them apart, these screws drive cleanly without splitting the material — a key advantage when working with premium or dense decking timbers. The multi-head design features cutting ribs that allow the small cylindrical head to countersink flush into the timber surface with minimal disturbance, leaving a clean, near-invisible finish. The deeper Torx recess provides a stronger bit hold, reducing cam-out and keeping the drive secure throughout the fixing process. Manufactured from A2 stainless steel, these screws are well suited to exterior applications where long-term weather resistance is essential. The antique finish is achieved through thermal processing, allowing the screw head to sit discreetly within the deck board rather than standing out as a bright metallic point.
