## Description

The DeWalt 6 Piece HSS E Cobalt Drill Bit Set is a professional-grade cobalt drill bit set designed for drilling into hard metals, stainless steel, and tough materials where standard HSS bits fall short. Formulated with 8% cobalt content , these bits maintain a sharper cutting edge throughout extended use and deliver four times the working life compared to DeWalt Black Oxide bits. The optimised tip and flute geometry doubles penetration speed versus Black Oxide equivalents, removing material faster whilst reducing heat build-up — a critical advantage when drilling hardened or abrasive materials. A stronger central core gives these bits twice the resistance to breakage, making them a reliable choice for contractors and engineers who need consistent performance across demanding applications. The set covers a practical size range from 2mm to 8mm, suitable for precision work through to general metalworking tasks, and arrives in a protective plastic case for organised storage on site. Features and Benefits: • 8% cobalt content maintains a sharper cutting edge and extends bit life • 4x longer life compared to DeWalt Black Oxide drill bits • 2x faster penetration speed versus Black Oxide equivalents • Optimised tip and flute geometry reduces heat build-up during drilling • Stronger central core provides 2x resistance to breakage • Six-piece set covering 2mm to 8mm for versatile metalworking use • Supplied in a protective plastic carry case Contents: 2mm Drill Bit 3mm Drill Bit 4mm Drill Bit 5mm Drill Bit 6mm Drill Bit 8mm Drill Bit Plastic Case
