We've all been there. You arrange your day to wait in for a delivery only to be the last person on the list. What could you have done with the 8 hours you've sat around waiting for the delivery.
Working with our delivery partners UKMail, we've introduced a one hour delivery slot. All we need is an email or mobile number and we will do the rest!
You'll receive a pre-delivery notification from UKMail with the option to amend the delivery using the 'Change It Options' sent following collection of the parcel. Then you'll receive an estimated one hour delivery window notification on the morning of the delivery, plus an optional ‘You’re Next’ notification when the driver is one delivery away
In the unlikely event of a driver being delayed on route, a notification will be sent to you 15 minutes after the close of the delivery window advising that the driver has been delayed.
You can follow your my Tool Shed delivery using UK Mail’s live online route tracker that enables you to view the UK Mail driver making his way to your address. The online tracker shows how many drops the driver has on the route and which drop the driver is at throughout the journey.
At every point in the journey you have access to the 'Change It Options'. These are :
- Leave it with a neighbour
- Leave it in a safe place
- Pick it up from a UK Mail depot
- Change your delivery date
So all through the process you have visibility of your delivery and can be kept informed through SMS and email messaging, just by providing us with your email address and mobile phone number at the point of dispatch.
