The Facom JL.171SLS is a professional 3/8" drive ratchet designed for working at height, featuring an integrated SLS attachment solution for secure tethering. This maintenance-free pear head ratchet combines a dust-sealed mechanism with exceptional solvent resistance, making it ideal for demanding workshop environments including automotive, aviation and industrial maintenance applications. Built with a 72-tooth mechanism providing precise 5° increments, this ratchet delivers excellent access in confined spaces thanks to its ultra-compact head design. The bi-material elastomer handle offers superior resistance to workshop solvents including SP95, SP98, diesel fuel, acetone, brake fluid, Skydrol, jet oil and jet fuel, ensuring long-term durability even in harsh conditions. The palm control system allows operators to press down on the head to prevent accidental reversal, whilst the drive direction switch can be operated easily with gloved or greasy hands. A socket safety lock prevents sockets falling into machinery during operation, providing additional security when working on engines or industrial equipment.
